DUTIES Job
Responsibilities:
Primary:
1.
Receives checks and cash for deposits to accounts, verifies amounts, examines checks for proper endorsement, and enters deposits into computer records.
2.
Cashes checks and processes withdrawals; pays out money after verification of signatures and customer balances.
3.
Promotes and explains other financial institution services such as consumer and mortgage loans, IRAs, certificates of deposit, safe deposit boxes, traveler's checks and money orders.
4.
Receives mortgage, consumer loan and other payments and ensures the payments match balances due.
Enters payments into computer.
Generates customer receipts.
5.
Places holds on accounts for uncollected funds.
6.
Counts, checks and packages coins and currency.
7.
Balances cash drawer at the end of the shift and compares totaled amounts to computer generated proof sheet.
Reports any discrepancies to the supervisor as necessary.
8.
Is responsible for checking night depository bags and recording proper information on the financial institution's forms.
9.
Uncovers customer needs and assists them in opening accounts/services to meet their needs.
10.
Next day review of all account documentation/CIP verification.
11.
Scanning and uploading all necessary account documentation.
12.
Daily balancing of ATM machines.
13.
Ordering of customer checks/deposit tickets.
14.
Process daily night drop deposits.
15.
Assisting customers with Online Banking Services:
set up, password resets, etc.
16.
Responsible for opening and closing the branch.
Other:
1.
Assist with other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS Job Requirements:
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Certifications:
None Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Training and
Experience:
Prior banking and/or customer service experience preferred.
Successful completion of in-house training program.
Good interpersonal communication and computer skills; ability to operate standard office equipment such as computers, adding machines and typewriters.
Essential Physical Requirements:
1.
Ability to converse verbally and in writing with others.
2.
Ability to utilize general office equipment, Internet and various business software programs (i.
e.
MS office).
3.
Ability to stand for long periods, stoop, bend, twist, and lift up to 20 pounds.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
