The Engineering Program Manager is responsible for the management, support, and execution of Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) to improve quality outcomes and compliance across our manufacturing processes that provide implantable components to finished devices. This position interacts closely with the Operations and Quality teams as well as several engineering disciplines such as Process Development, Reliability Engineering, and Regulatory Affairs. Additionally, this position requires problem solving skills and technical knowledge (Lean, DMAIC, Root Cause Analysis) and the ability to manage complex projects to a successful and timely conclusion. MECC Operations seeks candidates who will meet or exceed our customers' expectations by striving without reserve for the greatest possible reliability and quality in our products, processes, and systems by being accountable, having a voice, and taking action. A Day in the Life:
- Collaborates to manufacturing, development, and quality engineers, among other SMEs, to conduct root cause investigations, propose and assess solutions, and implement corrective actions associated to CAPAs. - Creates project plans and manages the execution of those plans to ensure CAPAs are completed on time and effective. - Designs manufacturing processes, procedures and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, processing, machining, and material handling. - Designs arrangement of machines within plant facilities to ensure most efficient and productive layout. - Designs sequence of operations and specifies procedures for the fabrication of tools and equipment and other functions that affect product performance. - Adapts machine or equipment design to factory and production conditions. - May incorporate inspection and test requirements into the production plan. - Inspects performance of machinery, equipment, and tools to verify their efficiency, and investigates and initiates corrective action of problems and deficiencies to ensure product quality. - Develops manufacturing processes that are applicable to statistical process control. - Provides guidance to engineering regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques. - Ensures processes and procedures are in compliance with regulations. - Effectively communicates CAPA status, progress, and anticipated issues to larger team. - Collaborates to manufacturing, development, and quality engineers, among other SMEs, to provide feedback and lessons learned to future processes and equipment Must Have:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, and 4
years of experience in manufacturing or an MS Degree with 2
years in manufacturing Nice to Have:

Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
