Job Description Senior Operations Project Manager will plan, lead and manage highly complex large scale Operations Development and Improvement efforts involving cross-functional teams as well as individual contributors to ensure accountability and timely deliverables resulting in on time program/project completion. The Senior Operations Project Manager will be responsible for special projects and product transfers owned by manufacturing operations. Develops and manages project plans, schedules, budgets and resource requirements for all assigned projects. They will effectively communicates to project review Boards. The Successful Candidate will proactively escalates issue in a timely manner and proactively proposes solutions to achieve project goals and objectives. Job Duties Develop Project Plans and requirements Evaluate and develops new operations projects and/or product transfer projects for feasibility and fit for OSTA manufacturing sites Represent Operations projects at OSTA Governance Boards (ORB & PAB) Establish standards for managing transfer projects (procedures, checklists, schedule milestones) Develop standard reporting tools for project deliverables to continuously improve processes Maintain communication with internal and external sites Proactively identify and assess areas of risk and propose resolutions Effectively manages performance issues and conflicts Proactively manage and report on project budget Provides input to functional Directors/Managers on team member performance, Project planning and management responsibilities for all assigned projects Consistently monitor and report on progress of the projects to all team members and prepare a status report and executive overview on a monthly basis ensuring all stake holders are updated Evaluate supplier capabilities with Quality as necessary Gains cooperation and commitment from people through influence not authority Manage cross functional teams to ensure fulfilment of necessary deliverables to support the Quality Management System Actively seeks collaboration and builds relationships with internal customers and external partners to improve overall outcomes and timely project execution Experience with FDA/ISO 13485 requirements would be highly desired All other essential related duties as required Job Requirements REQUIRED
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in science, engineering or technology discipline Minimum of 6 years of successfully demonstrated experience in managing large technically complex projects Up to 25%
domestic/international travel PREFERRED
Qualifications:
Graduate degree preferred, (MBA, MSA, EMBA, etc.) Minimum of 5 years of experience in the medical device field preferred AGILE project management or PMP certification preferred PMP Certification preferred AGILE project management certification Lean/ Six Sigma preferred Experience with product transfers between companies/facilities Experience with setting up, qualifying, and validating an operations manufacturing line Must have hands on Oracle knowledge Fluency with Microsoft Office, including a power user of Microsoft Project Knowledge of FDA and ISO regulations
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Business Project Management, Operations ManagementEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
